The system’s switch-based architecture takes full advantage of the powerful 617Mhz and 1GHz Alpha processor respectively, running your choice of OpenVMS or Tru64 UNIX with HP’s renowned clustering capabilities. The switch-based system interconnect exploits the full potential of the Alpha chip.

You can take your choice of three rack cabinets and an internal or front-access storage cage. Plus, you can place up to 13 systems in the largest cabinet, or add more storage with StorageWorks shelves.
